She was predeceased by: her parents, Derwood Jones and Ruby Jones; her husband Earl "Wayne" Gavin; and her sisters, Patsy Mendenhall and Elaine Brush (Ferguson).

She is survived by: her daughter Jane Spencer (Larry); her brother Bob Jones (Claudia); and her grandchildren, Barry Eppley (Janine), Joel Eppley (Rochelle), Jennetta Waite (Shawn), Mitch Spencer (Jess) and Danielle Williams (Steve). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
