He is survived by: his stepmother Janet Hoskinson Thompson (Clare DiDonato Thompson); his stepchildren, Keith Bernes Jr. and Sammy Bernes; his siblings, Bruce Thompson (Becky), Tim Thompson (Stefanie), David Thompson (Tammy), Daniel Thompson (Meschelle), Matthew Thompson (Rebecca), Samuel, Trudy Reed (James), Treva Thompson (Gary), Teresa Thompson, Rebecca Thompson-DeBoer, Beverly Carr (Scott) and Marian Valentine (Jason); his grandson Keith Bernes III; his father-in-law Joe DiDonato; and his pets, Thor and Loki.
