He was predeceased by: his parents, James Flavil (JF) and Mary Elizabeth McConkey (Smith); and his grandfather George W. McConkey. He is survived by: his former wife Janice Wilson; his daughter Sharon Sue; his son-in-law Larry E. Reed II; his stepchildren, James David (Jim) and Sara Lynn; his spouse Josh Rosenbalm; his grandchildren, Jesse Lee Reed (Mirisa), Danielle Marie (McConkey), Keck (Casey), James Thomas (Tina), Jonathon Michael, Mary Elizabeth, Joshua Lucas and Nicholas Alexander; his great grandchildren, Austin (Kayla), Elise, Kayden, Aurora, Athena, Daniel, Jax, James David II, Olivia and Emily; and his great great grandchild Thomas John. He is also survived by his wife of over 62 years, a sister, his 3 children.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Matheney Funeral Home (165 N Kennebec Ave, McConnelsville, OH 43756). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Copen Methodist Church.
