It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie L. Nelson Sr. of Malta, Ohio, born in Marietta, Ohio, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Nelson; and his sisters, Marian White and Norma Ferguson. He is survived by: his children, Jackie L. Nelson Jr. of Nevada, Kerry Nelson (Lynnette) of Clover, VA and Kelly McCoy (Tom) of Malta; and his grandchildren, Alicia Rae Rucker (Joe) of Johnstown, Addy Collins (J. J.) of Coldwater, Gabrielle Nelson of Richmond, VA, Keeley Nelson of Scottsville, VA and Wyatt Nelson of Clover, VA.. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Malta Methodist Church.
