It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Maxine Shepard of Malta, Ohio, born in Stockport, Ohio, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Theodore Hollett and Evelyn Boles Hollett; her daughter Vickie Wells; and her siblings, Jim Hollett, Sylvia Hollett, Mary Shuster, Norma Heiss and Norwista Gregory.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Newberry (Jeri) of Malta and Roger Newberry of Jackson; her stepson Jeff Shepard (Carrie) of New Lexington; her sister Patty Wright of Waterford; and her grandchildren, Mike Newberry, Michelle Burkhart (Josh), Melinda Pettet (Dustin) and Roger Lee Newberry (Jenny). She is also survived by several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
