He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry L. Johnson and Violet L. Johnson (Stevens); his siblings, Lance "Hoss" Smith, Larry Lee Johnson Jr. and Teresa Allender; and his nephew Tyson Cunningham.
He is survived by: his wife Tamara "Sue" Johnson (Kidd); his sons, Tyler Johnson (Destiny) of Malta, Taylor Johnson of Malta and Travis Johnson (Taylor) of Malta; his sisters, Kelly Duncan of Malta, Lori Johnson of McConnelsville, Dee McKenzie of Marietta and Wendy Johnson of McConnelsville; and his pet Diesel. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home for arrangements.
