He was predeceased by: his father Raymond E. Miller; his wife Paula Blinn Miller; his stepchildren, Tracey Short and Chuck Lively; and his sister Carol Boyd.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Ross of Malta; his stepdaughter Danielle Harbert of Akron; his son Jerry Miller of Akron; and his siblings, Diana Gifford of Zanesville and William Miller of Malta. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
