He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walter and Mary Emmajean Piatt. He is survived by: his wife Johanna Piatt; his children, Jennifer Huskey (April), April Piatt, Joseph Piatt (Mariah Eyerman) and Lisa Piatt (Josh Weaver); his grandchildren, Alexis, Elsy, Clyde and Hammer; his siblings, John Piatt (Donna), Nellie Mae Ingvalson (David), Leatha Grizzell (Bill), Connie Wright (Dave) and Vinna Piatt; and his nephews, Travis, Justin "Bosco" Piatt, Corey "Cork" and Kyle "Wild" Ingvalson. He is also survived by his many friends and family.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in William Piatt's name to St Jude Children's Hospital with number 22864111. The family would like to encourage organ donation as Bill was a kidney transplant recipient at OSU Wexner Medical Center.
