He was predeceased by: his sibling Virginia Gamble; and his parent Kenneth Odell Sr. He is survived by: his spouse Viola Goodin; his children, Amanda Lee (Timothy) and Jacob Michael Goodin; his grandchild Layla Viola Lee; his siblings, Barbara Goodin, Patricia Cooper, Kenneth Odell Goodin Jr (Debbie), Melanie Frisby (Dave) and David Goodin (Sheila); and his parent Dorothy Lou Goodin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
