He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bowers and Ada Bowers; his brother Melvin; and his sister-in-law Elvie Bowers. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Bowers, Jr. (Donna), Karie Bowers (Brian Koch), Jodie Schenk and Melissa Stratton (Jason); his grandchildren, Carlee, Kaila, Logan, Hunter, Caleb, Emily, Kendall, Elliette, Aela and Iris; his great grandchildren, Nathan and Alora; and his siblings, Patricia Callaway (Bob) and Richard Lee Bowers (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
