She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Rudolfo Bernal; her significant other Alejandro S. Quinones; her children, Eddie Almaraz, Sylvia Feldman, Andy Almaraz, Alex Quinones (Rosemary), Alexsandra Batdorf (Mike) and Nina Ramirez (Sam); her siblings, Belinda Rogers (John), Joe Martinez (Sharon) and Eric Martinez; her mother Andrea Martinez (Alejandro); her children, Rudy Almaraz and Judy Almaraz; her grandchildren, Michael Barnes and Jessica Reyna; her brother George Martinez; and her son-in-law Jay Reyna. She was also cherished by 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
