He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Runions and Laura Runions; his wife Henrietta Runion; and his siblings, Elby Runions, Dorothy Runions (George Gamzue), Zedra Combs (Dale), Conley Runions (Renee), Mamie Jones (Taylor) and Susie Runions.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Runion (Sherri), Alisa Cooper (Gregory), Scott Runion (Paige) and Lance Runion (Susan); his grandchildren, Kelli, Brandon, Laurah, Kyle, Karissa, Stacey, Lindsay, Abby, Kirstie and Matthew; and his brother Carl Runions (Sandy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
