She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hofer and Lucille Hofer; and her husband Norman Rison. She is survived by: her children, Valerie Caranfa (Christopher) and Kevin Grubb (Stefanie); and her grandchildren, Holly, Joseph, Anthony Caranfa, Connor and Chloe Grubb. She is also survived by one sister, three brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in Jewel's name to the Hospice of Cincinnati or The American Cancer Society.
