He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife June McCown; his children, Vickie Surber (David), Brenda Madden (Steve), Sheila McCown, Michael McCown and Jim McCown (Teka); his grandchildren, Becky, Molly, Patrick, Lisa, Justin, Jeffrey and Jimmy; and his great grandchildren, Laura and Jordan.
