He is survived by: his wife Estelle Freese Cox; his sons, David Hugh (Eileen) and Thomas Alan (Janet); his grandsons, Casey Alonzo, Jacob Thomas, Tyler Christopher and Daniel James; and his great grandchild Elizabeth "Lizzie" Rochelle.
