He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter and Bernadette; his wife Veta "Nana" Goodknight of Maineville; his children, Dale Goodknight (Cindy) of Glens Falls, NY, Sara Kneip (Pat) of Morrow and Carla Goodknight (Dan Keith) of Dover, NH; his sister Joyce Burkett of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Jeff Kneip, Laura Smith (Jake), Kevin Kneip, Heather Kneip, Jake Fritz (Bry), Madeline Fritz, Elaina Fritz, Monica Fritz, Dana Goodknight, Max Goodknight, Kara Goodknight and Nick Goodknight; and his great grandchildren, Chloe of Liam, AJ, Romeo and Lorenzo.
