She is survived by: her grandchildren, Donald "DJ" Brewer, Jr. of Germantown and Shannon Brewer of Maysville; her sister Barbara Ann Reed Askren; and her caregivers, Shauna Short, Michele Askren Miller and Lisa Askren Staley. She is also survived by 4 nephews and 3 great-grandchildren.
