She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Oquendo and Juana Oquendo; her husband Jose Marrero; and her sister Juanita Perez. She is survived by: her children, Jose L. Marrero Jr., Richard Marrero, David Marrero, Tony Marrero, Nellie Rose (John), Sandra Marrero, Linda Hopper (Jeff), Norma Muniz, Grace Trinidad (Luis), Georgia and Alice Barger (Randy); and her siblings, Casimiro, Oquendo-Brooklyn, Guiso Mojica and Rachel Gutierrez. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
