He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Morckel and Maggie Morckel (Witten); his wife Sarah Morckel; his grandson Jonathan Morckel; his children, Teresa Cufman and Charles Morckel; his stepson Monroe Hershberger; and his brother Paul Morckel.
He is survived by: his son David; his daughter-in-law Pat Morckel; and his stepdaughters, Mary Jane Snodgrass, Laura Rhoads (Phil) and Monica Ellison. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
