He was predeceased by: his parents, Of Edward and Anna Lanigan (Sullivan); and his siblings, John Lanigan (Dorothy), Raymond Lanigan (Eleanor), Rose Cauley (John) and Mary Catherine Murphy (Don).
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Lanigan (Paul McFadden), Brian Lanigan (Lee Anne), Aaron Lanigan (Ruth Ernst) and Gran.
