He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Mabel (Peck) and Chester Neal Freeman; his former wife Rebecca; and his wife Marie. He is survived by: his children, Mike Freeman (Judy), Suzanne Morley, Cathy Snyder (Stan), Patti Drotar (Glenn) and Lisa Freeman; and his siblings, Jack Freeman and Nancy Toth (Ray). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
