She was predeceased by: her parents, Merland B Saxe and Alverna J. Saxe (Andrews); her husband Wendell E. Mellen; her sons, John Mellen and Daniel Mellen; and her siblings, Merlin Saxe, Linda Wickman, Donna Ritts, Grace Naples and Jane Medvec.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Mellen (Pamela) of Madison, Richard Mellen (Carol) of Florida and Thomas Mellen of Lakewood; and her brother Edward Saxe (Mary) of Painesville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
