She is survived by: her children, Beth Norris (Dave), Helen Trask (Michael), Steve Smetters (Ginger), David Smetters (Bev) and Kent Smetters (Cindy); her grandchildren, Nikki Smetters, Riane Wubbenhorst (Jake), Reghan Norris, Olivia Norris, Nathan Smetters and Cami Smetters; and her great grandchildren, June Wubbenhorst, Aubrey Wubbenhorst and Parker Wubbenhorst.

“Mitzi was a grade school and high school friend who lived a half block from me. Her mother Hazel would always have treats for me. We attended Mary Lyon elementary school and had great teachers like Mrs Bogart. We also attended Steinmetz high school with Mr Westergreen and other great teachers. We moved to Arizona in 1961 and Mitzi moved to Ohio. We seldom communicated but we always new of her whereabouts. We were happy for her engagement in the church. Marie Tomasic Wells 602-810-9200”
