He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Woitella and Victoria Woitella; his stepfather Stanley Nita; his sisters, Dorothy, Sally and Betty; and his grandson Bret.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly; and his children, Joe Woitella (Charlene), Don Woitella (Suzanne) and Karen Howley (Patrick). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
