It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Allen Weist of Madison, Ohio, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Baby Jake Morris; his parents, Louis W. and Blanch W. (Wheeler) Weist; his siblings, Kenneth (late first wife, Ellen), Francis (late first wife, Pat, and second wife, Carolyn), Ralph, Lowell, Howard Weist, Treva Kreider (Jack) and Isabelle Harris (Bud); his grandparents, Albert, Rosa Wheeler (Null), George and Eva Weist (Emerick); and his siblings-in-law, Junior Mitchell, Daily, Cora Swartz, Rick Swartz, Sandy Schoonover, Mike Swartz, Bobbie Swartz and Tim Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Clemmie; his children, Joseph A. Weist of Terre Haute, Terry G. Weist of Franklin, Kimberly R. Weist of Madison Township, Elizabeth A. Pennell (Chuck) of Berlin Heights, Sondra Weist of Middletown and Catherine K. Morris (Scott) of Madison Township; his daughter-in-law Crystle Johnson; his grandchildren, Karaleigh R. Jordan (Tim), Kyle Murphy (Alyssa), Terris Weist, Devin Weist, Sarah Weist, Joseph Pennell, Kaitlyn Morris and Sue Johnson; his sister Carol Mitchell; his siblings-in-law, Patty Weist, Virginia Cones, Cathy Weist, JoAnn Weist, Diane Swartz, Jeanette Swartz, Linda Lawson, Dalton Swartz and Loretta Swartz; and his nephew Quentin Clark.
