He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sturgill and Anna Sturgill (Frazier); his wife Margaret A. Sturgill; and his brothers, Lacy Sturgill and Kenneth Sturgill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Dible (Edward) and Lorraine Woodrome (Scott); his siblings, Delores Wray and Darrell Sturgill (Dee); his grandchildren, Marilyn Scheiding (Kevin), Caroline Cox (Joseph), Margaret Lentz (Jalen) and Dallas Dible; his great grandchildren, Evaleena, Naomi and Noelle; and his children, Dayton of Alzheimer's Association and Greater Cincinnati Chapter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the University Baptist Church (4125 Riverview Ave, Middletown, OH 45042). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
