Though Chris may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Chris touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Larry Ritchie; her husband Jack Lee Morgan, Jr.; and her daughter Sarah Morgan. She is survived by: her children, Courtney Ellis (Brandon) and Jonathan Tyler Morgan of Madison, OH; her siblings, David Ritchie of Franklinton, NC and Robyn Smothers of Raleigh, NC; her grandson Garrett Ellis of Madison, OH; and her in-laws, Jack and Judy Morgan of Davin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Claypool United Methodist Church (3635 Huff Crk Hwy, Claypool, WV 25606). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Claypool United Methodist Church Cemetery (3635 Huff Crk Hwy, Claypool, WV 25606).
