He was predeceased by: his brothers, Don, Tom and Bob Kiess. He is survived by: his wife Jan (Schoenberger); his children, Sara, Aaron (Tiffany Howard) and Emily; his grandson Brecken; his sisters, Bonny Weimerskirch and Betty Hardy; and his niece Lena.
