She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Takacs and Cora Takacs (Grimshaw). She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Patrick A. Sirl and Wendy Formberg; her grandchildren, Quin and Keeghan; and her siblings, Frank, Ken and Mary.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations made in Carol's name to St. Patrick's Church or Hospice of the Western Reserve.
