She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Sprague (Borngen) and Russell Sprague; her husband John J. Getzy, Jr.; and her brothers, Edward Sprague and David Sprague.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Horton (Jim), John Getzy (Barb), Theresa Brotzman (Jeffrey Hennen), Andrew Getzy (Linda), Todd Getzy (Jenna Alfieri) and Donny Rudeski (Sherri); and her siblings, Elaine Phelps and Sandy Maynard (Tom). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
