He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton A. Hill and Wanda May Becker Hill. He is survived by: his wife Karen Achilles; and his children, Gerry Lin Perry (Terry) of Lowell, Lisa Ann DiNocco (Bob) of New Hampshire, James D. Hill (Tremilla) of Tennessee and Rodney L. Vandermay (Marsha) of Minnesota. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and one brother and one sister.
