He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Barnhouse and Marian D. Jennings Barnhouse; his brothers, John "Mike" Barnhouse and Durward "Dub" Barnhouse; and his nephew Christopher Michael Barnhouse.
He is survived by: his wife Louisa "Cathy" Stark Barnhouse; and his children, David Barnhouse II (Tracy) of Senecaville, OH, Bill Barnhouse of Norton, OH and Amanda Barnhouse of Zanesville, OH.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
