With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Avenell Wharton of Macksburg, Ohio, who passed away on December 25, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Woodford and Lulu Fern Porter Woodford; her daughter Rebecca G. "Becky" Bonar; her grandson Jason Bonar; her former husband Charles W. Williams; her husband Clyde W. Wharton; her son-in-law David Knox; and her siblings, Beneva Williams, Janella Robinson, Nyla Woodford, Clair, Norman, Earl and Dean Woodford.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth L. Williams of Caldwell, David C. Williams (Denise) of Macksburg and Christine D. Knox of Parkersburg; her grandchildren, David Bonar, Jeremy Bonar, Emily Williams and Charlie Williams; her great grandchildren, Caleb Bonar, Paxtyn Avenell Bonar, Elizabeth Williams and Anna Williams; and her nieces, Rita Pickenpaugh and Linda Greathouse. She is also survived by two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
