He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Tajgiszer (Coble); and his parents, Andrew Tajgiszer and Olga Toth (Gall). He is survived by: his children, Rodney Tajgiszer (Amy) and Andrea Tajgiszer (Dave); his grandchildren, Haley and Ryan Tajgiszer; his sister Mary Ann Yarmesch (Kenneth); and his close friends, Bob Benedek and Joe Revak.
