He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Wilkin; his parents, Charles Edgar Wilkin and Doris G. Wilkin Rhoades (Mason); his stepfather Melvin "Dusty" Rhoades; his brother-in-law William Ursell; and his stepson Gregory Evans.
He is survived by: his sisters, Bette Ursell of Highland and Jo Ellen Hilliard (Jon) of Lynchburg; and his stepdaughter Anna Boots (Aaron). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
