He is survived by: his wife Karen Dotson (Pfister); his children, Janie DeBoard (Chip) of Lynchburg and Jay Dotson (Jody) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Alisha DeBoard, Amber DeBoard and Cali Walker; and his siblings, Barbara Eakins (Jim) of Shelby, Debbie Dotson of Maysville and Nelson Dotson (Janet) of Seaman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
