He was predeceased by: his parent Curt Hunter; his wife Audrey Louise Hunter; his sons, Dale Alan Hunter and Darrell Eugene Hunter; his brothers, Clifford Hunter and Franklin Hunter; and his brothers-in-law, Wade Ratliff and Wayne Osborne.
He is survived by: his parent Etta Hunter (Hughes); his daughter Darlene Johnson of Germantown; his grandchildren, Bobby Johnson (Kayla) of Germantown, Candy Polan (Jason) of Columbus, Brian Dale Hunter (Desiree) of Portsmouth and Baylee K-Louise Johnson of Germantown; his great grandchildren, Nick, Ella, Ethan, Peyton, Emerson and Mason; his siblings, John K. Hunter (Doris) of Germantown, Jackline "Jackie" Ratliff of Germantown and Charlotte Willis (Don) of Huber Heights; his daughter-in-law Joni Hunter of Portsmouth; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Osborne of Lynchburg and Glenn Herdman (Mary) of Lynchburg.
