He was predeceased by: his parents, John Isaac Reed Colthar and Mabel Colthar (Wallace); his wife Josephine Mullins Colthar; his granddaughter Stephanie Kenney Hill; his great grandchild Trey Allen Kenney; his siblings, Mary Louise Barr and Richard Colthar; and his half-brother Reed Colthar.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Kenney of Clarksville, Mike Colthar of Lynchburg, Jeff Colthar (Theresa J.) of Lynchburg and Karen Scheffter of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Rob Kenney (Monica) of Leesburg, Melissa Gebhardt of Minnesota, Rylan Colthar of Dayton, Jamie Tipton (Melissa) of Texas and Robbie Tipton (Cindy) of Peebles; his grandson-in-law James Hill of Beavercreek; his great grandchildren, Brayden Kenney, Kiefer Gebhardt (Shannon), Camden Kenney, Deagen Kenney, Kerstin Ledbetter (Kyle), Logan Younker, Davon Younker, Max Gebhardt, Jamen Hill and Owen Colthar; his great great grandchild Beau Gebhardt; and his half-siblings, Jim Colthar (Barb) of Hillsboro and Caroline Irions of Chillicothe. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
