She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jesse and Georgia Ada Norris (Honeycutt); the father of her children Charles Marvin Whiting; her former husband Othel Jones; her husband Paul Wait; her daughter Mary Dobbins; and her siblings, Mary Means, Ruby Groce, Margaret Undine Shelley, Edward, Bruce, Joe, Schuyler and Fred Norris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Georgiana Miller (Paul) of Lynchburg, Pamela Keaton (Andy) of Lynchburg and Sally Alegria (Daniel) of Corpus Christi, Texas; her sister Beulah Wells of Mt. Orab; and her grandchildren, Joshua Davidson, Kelly Dyer, Stephen, Erick, Benjamin Henize, Belia, Angelina and Olivia Alegria. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
