He was predeceased by: his parent Fred Pfister; and his sisters, Joan Fawley and Marilee Schatzmann. He is survived by: his parent Inez Taylor Pfister; his wife Nancy Pfister (Hertlein); his children, Matt Pfister of Lynchburg, Tracy Howard (Doffie) of Waynesboro and Georgia; his grandchildren, Avery Pfister and Zackary Howard; and his sister Karen Dotson (Bill) of Lynchburg.
