He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Malone; and his siblings, Janice Caliguri, Tootie Davis, Dot Lawson and Sammy Malone.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah Thatcher, Jim Malone and Belinda Minzler; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael, Vanessa, Ronnie, Brooklynn and Berlyne; and his sister Patsy Rhoades. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
