In loving memory of James M. Hakes of Lynchburg, Ohio, born in Springfield, Ohio, who departed this world on May 21, 2024 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Hakes and Hattie Imogene Hakes (Cowman); his son James M. Hakes II; and his son-in-law Randy Brown. He is survived by : his wife Kay Hakes (Wynn); his daughter Tina Brown; and his grandchildren, Lynn Pierson of Sabina, Erica Vazquez (Urbano) of Mount Sterling, Christopher Osborn (Tonda), Zach Mineer of Fort Liberty, Keith Mineer (Maddie Hillard) of Cincinnati, Cody Griffith of Wilmington, Kyle Luneke of Bahrain and Josh Groves of Lynchburg. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
