He was predeceased by: his wife Sally Ann Quinlan; and his siblings, Vivian Risenburg, Jean Van Sickle and Richard "Dick" Heber. He is survived by: his children, Connie Wills (Tom) of Chippewa Lake, Ohio, Bill, Jr. (Rebecca) of Heathrow, Florida, Mark Heber (Bryn) of Ipswich, MA, Robert Heber (Laura) of Delaware, Ohio, Jenny Ciolino (Chuck) of Terrace Park, Ohio and Ann Rahe (Kraig) of Medina, Ohio. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
