He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Welling and Leona Welling (Weaks); his wife Jane Cardosy; and his son David Welling. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Welling (Sonja) of Luckey and Jim Welling (Susan) of Oregon, OH.; his daughter-in-law Gina Welling; his grandchildren, Stephanie Welling-Majzun, Chad Welling (Megan), Brooke Welling, Joshua Welling, Morgan Welling and Madison Welling; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Quinn, Alexandria and Robin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: Zion Lutheran Church or The Gardens of St. Francis.
