He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Peter and Evelyn Nissen (Phillips); and his brothers, Ronald "Butch", Larry "Skip" and Ray Nissen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Liebherr; his children, John Nissen (Joni) of Luckey, Mark Nissen (Heather) of Perrysburg and Kelly Adams (Al) of Luckey; his grandchildren, Jonelle (Henry), Jolynn (Nolan), Jonna, Lauren (Jay), Austen and Molly (Austin); his siblings, Jerry Nissen (Ginny), Terry Nissen (Jill) and Barbara Ann Schroeder (Carleton); his sister-in-law Glenous Favata; and his pet Jojo.
