He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Lewis and Margaret E. Vernier Lewis; and his siblings, James Lewis, Jr., Bernard Lewis, John Lewis, Leroy Lewis, Catherine Young, Thelma Cooper, Louise Hatton, Evelyn Montavon and Anna Hayslip.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Lemmon.
