He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Simpson, Sr. and Ruth Simpson (Leist); his brothers, Albert, Jr. and George; and his daughter Jill Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Simpson (Shonkwiler); his children, Jerri of Tallahassee and John, Jr. (Alita) of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Jennifer Simpson and Douglas Turk; and his stepgrandchildren, Katie Glardon and Kurt Glardon. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Donations can also be made in his name to Sierra's Haven for New and Used Pets in Portsmouth.
