As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoy Hilton and Nell Hilton; and his sisters, Betty and Carolyn. He is survived by: his wife Bonita Soisson Hilton of Lucasville; his son Todd; his daughter-in-law Beth Hilton of Minford, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Ethan Arbaugh (Kristi) and Olivia Hilton (Nathaniel).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Home (12 Garfield Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
