He was predeceased by: his parents, Birchard Crabtree and Blanche Lute Crabtree; his wife Roberta "Jackie" Crabtree; his sons, Ronald and Michael; and his siblings, Gilbert Crabtree, Wilbert Crabtree, Victor Crabtree, Robert Crabtree, Lena and Madelyn (McCorkle).
He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Stevens of Portsmouth, Susan Gray (Steve) of Minford and Marianne Swanner (Ed); his grandchildren, Melissa Dell, Christopher Crabtree, Terri Scott, Tommie Bell, Crystal Bell, Michael "Mickey" Crabtree, Steven "Stevie" Gray, Brandon Gray, David Gray, Art Swanner, Matthew Swanner, Brandon Swanner, Andrew Watts, Tyler Swanner and Dylan Swanner Craft; and his siblings, Betty Platzer and Stone Quarry. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
