He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. and Jessie Mae Brown (McGowan); and his half-brother William Merry. He is survived by: his wife Ramona "Kitty" Brown (Thompson); his children, Christopher Gene Brown (Letitia) of Lucasville, Rachael Mae Mitchell (Chris) of West Portsmouth, Rebecca Brown of Grayson and Joshua Brown (Laura Leedom) of Colorado Spring, Colorado; his grandchildren, Shaniah Brown, Elizabeth Brown, Isabella Brown, Melinda Rietz, Rachael Carter, Alexis Grafmyer, Miranda Kay Silcott, Calista Brown, Nicholas Brown and Makenzy Bosley; and his siblings, Jeanie Tieman (Bob) of Lucasville, Denise Kearney of Lucasville and Charles Brown (Debra) of Oak Ridge. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
